iPhone 5s vs. iPhone 5

In this article, we’re going to compare all new iPhone 5 with faster iPhone 5s. A lot of controversies have been heard regarding these two versions to be exactly the same. To find the real difference you will have to conduct a bit of a speed test. First of all, let’s talk about how these guys look from the front. In iPhone 5s we have a fingerprint sensor, which is said to be the only difference between the two, is placed at below part of the front screen. If you notice in iPhone 5s, the home button is kind of flat, and it really doesn’t look like a home button. Whereas, in iPhone5, and every other iOS device, we get a concave home button which feels nice. However, somewhere you can feel the same in iPhone5s as you got a little ridge at home button.
Besides that, looking them from the front you will not be able to tell a difference. Going towards the sides, they are exactly the same. At the back, you do see another difference in the camera section. The cameras are a little bit different, as we got a smaller lens in iPhone5, and slightly bigger lens in iPhone5s. Also, in faster version, you will find dual LED flash lights which give pictures a natural look by replacing the bright light effect.

When you turn on both the devices at the same time, you expect 5s to be significantly faster than the other one. Turning them on you will find the 5s version much faster having 64k chip at the back of it. The screen is exactly the same, having no difference even in icons or look. Now you must open up some apps and see if you find any difference in that area. While doing that, you will come across the fact that your apps downloads more quickly, browsing in 5s is done at much faster speed. IPhone 5s will get you through different websites a lot faster, and with quick turning on time, it will save you a couple of seconds.

As far as the camera is concerned, the loading time seems to be same, but you will find a new feature SLO-MO in 5s which is not present in iPhone 5. It takes a little bit more of the processor which is lacking in 5. The main difference can be revealed with the gaming experience. Gaming apps take hell lot of time in loading, but in iPhone 5s, you will find prominent difference at the start, but the gaming experience is more or less similar in both devices.

Another thing that we get on the 5S that we don’t get in iPhone 5 is the finger print ID. So basically, with the iPhone 5S you can save some second by not having to type in the password when you’re getting into your phone or downloading apps from iTunes. It’s nothing more than a time saver for many busy bees out there. In the end we can say that iPhone 5 is a really fast phone, but if you’re thinking about upgrading to iPhone 5s you got to think about the camera, and the fingerprint sensor.
