Leadership of Steve Jobs



Technology has created major changes in the world today, and the greatest impact it has had is on communication. Therefore, the way in which the people communicate has greatly changed especially in the business arena where employees from diverse cultures interact. He was one person who influenced each and every employee of the company, and he made sure that his employees are well aware of his vision and know what the company wants to achieve. He hired a diverse workforce in order to increase creativity and also welcomed employees to give new and diverse ideas. In this way, the language barriers were also resolved also because the medium of communication that was chosen by him was effective.

Conflict and Achievement of goals: Thirdly, conflicting expectations about processes and the achievement of organizational goals also play a crucial role in attaining organizational success. For Steve Jobs, "Creativity is connecting things" and connect things means looking for inspiration in other industries. For example, on several occasions, Jobs has found inspiration in Zen meditation, on a visit to India, to an electrical device or a chain. For Steve Jobs, people who buy Apple products are not consumers, but people with hopes dreams and ambitions. His company manufactures products to help people achieve their dreams.

Technology has created a global marketplace where everyone can interact with one another easily and with lesser costs which are involved and even free of cost at times.  However, the leadership of Steve Jobs especially with regards to communication has played a very vital role in attaining success of Apple.
